[1] Please have in mind that all EU member states -plus Norway and Iceland- belong to the Schengen area, as well as the newcomers (i.e. the countries that have entered the EU since 2004), except Cyprus, Romania and Bulgaria. The UK and Ireland are still out of the Schengen agreement. This means that you need a valid passport or ID to travel to these countries.

summer holiday

Due to summer holiday, this blog will go on being updated, but not on a constant basis...we all need some vacation!

Ready to travel for the Euro 2008?

Amazing, isn't it? If you are on your way to Austria or Switzerland to watch Euro games, don't forget to take a look at the following leaflet "Know before you go, your rights are our goal", in order to get a well-established idea about your rights as an EU citizen!
I hope that some of you might get the chance to travel and live this wonderful experience, even if Greece did not qualify!

The exam's coming...

Dear all,
I hope that your study goes extremely well and that you have already passed your lab exam.
Well, I 'll see you all next Monday. Don't forget to bring with you your identity or student cards, since this is a prerequisite for your participation in the exam procedure.
Please feel free to ask me anything you would like before the exam.
